Summary

StaffRight Associates is excited to recruit for a Senior Business Analyst specializing in Enterprise Interfaces and System Integrations on behalf of our client. This is a hybrid, 6+ month contract-to-hire opportunity based in Charlotte, NC. The successful candidate will join the client directly as a W2 employee.

The Opportunity

This isn''t your standard documentation role. We are looking for a high-level architect of requirements someone who understands the "plumbing" of a massive organization. You will be the bridge between complex business logic and technical execution, ensuring that data flows seamlessly across SAP and a variety of interconnected platforms. If you enjoy untangling dependencies and mapping out how massive systems "talk" to one another, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Strategy & Interface Management

  • Lead the Blueprint: Drive the discovery and requirement-gathering phase for sophisticated cross-platform integrations and system interfaces.

  • Map the Flow: Create detailed documentation for data movement, transformation logic, validation rules, and error-handling protocols between upstream and downstream systems.

  • Technical Liaison: Work alongside architects and developers to validate the scalability of APIs, middleware, and batch processes.

  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively hunt for integration gaps, data silos, or inconsistencies before they impact the enterprise.

Requirements & Process Design

  • Detailed Specifications: Author comprehensive BRDs and functional specs that translate high-level integration needs into actionable developer tasks.

  • Agile Documentation: Partner with Product Owners to refine backlogs, ensuring user stories have ironclad acceptance criteria.

  • Visual Modeling: Use Visio or similar tools to draft "As-Is" and "To-Be" process maps that align with SAP S/4HANA standards.

SAP & Data Validation

  • System Synergy: Support integrations involving core SAP modules (FI, SD, MM, EWM, etc.) and ensure configurations match business requirements.

  • Technical Deep-Dive: Use SQL to verify data accuracy across systems, troubleshooting discrepancies between source and target environments.

  • E2E Testing: Develop and oversee test scripts specifically designed for cross-platform validation and end-to-end system harmony.

Qualifications

Experience Requirements

  • Senior-Level Expertise: 7 8+ years as a Business Analyst with a heavy emphasis on enterprise-level system integrations.

  • SAP Background: Hands-on experience within SAP environments (S/4HANA is highly preferred).

  • Technical Fluency: A strong grasp of APIs, file transfers (SFTP), middleware behavior, and event-driven architectures.

  • Agile Mastery: Proven success working within sprint-based delivery models and utilizing tools like Azure DevOps or Confluence.

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Functional Breadth: Familiarity with Finance and Supply Chain modules (AP/AR, MM, SD, PCA, etc.).

  • Data Tools: Proficiency in SQL for independent data validation and troubleshooting.

  • Systems Thinking: The ability to visualize how a change in the UI impacts backend integration and data integrity.

  • Leadership Mindset: A proactive "owner" who can drive clarity in ambiguous environments and communicate effectively with both C-suite stakeholders and engineers.

Education & Preferences

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Finance, or a related technical field.

  • Previous experience with data governance or master data management (MDM) integrations.
