Summary

We are looking to hire a Seasonal Aviation Research Analyst who can apply their data analysis and problem-solving skills to help ICF address the key strategic challenges currently facing the aviation industry. The individual will apply marketing analytics and agile methodology to new product development challenges in a complex environment.

This is a seasonal, on-call position expected to last six months. Expected hours are 40 per week, beginning by late July 2026. This position will be fully remote, though the individual may be expected to occasionally visit our Waltham, MA, New York City, or Reston, VA office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build effective team relationships with ICF's experts.
  • Map current analytical processes and consulting outputs.
  • Design and test next-generation algorithms and deliverables.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data in support of project analysis and maintaining internal databases.
  • Write reports and presentations to synthesize analyses.
  • Structure agile workshops to advance new product concepts and prototypes.
  • Draft persuasive arguments that include financial analysis and marketing insights.
  • Participate as a member of a consulting team on client-based projects.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • Demonstrated interest in aviation and sustainable aviation.
  • Curiosity, self-motivation and ability to work with professionals from a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated analytical aptitude and exposure to quantitative model development.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Strong verbal and written command of English language, applicable in a business setting.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal direction and collaborate productively with a team.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing AI agent and effectively prompting AI tools a plus.

Required Qualifications:
  • A completed bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications:
  • A degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics or other related degree with an emphasis on quantitative analysis.
  • A completed Master's degree.
