DescriptionWe are seeking a
Lead Travel Low Voltage Technician to support commercial installation projects across the United States. This individual will act as the on-site lead, working hands-on while overseeing a small team of technicians. The ideal candidate has strong low-voltage installation experience, leadership capability, and is motivated to convert to a permanent role after the contract period.
Responsibilities- Lead on-site low-voltage installations for commercial projects nationwide
- Serve as the working lead for a team of 1-3 technicians
- Install, terminate, and test Cat6 cabling, fiber, coax, and related infrastructure
- Install and support:
- Security camera and video surveillance systems
- Structured cabling systems
- Fire alarm systems
- Access control panels and devices
- Wireless access points
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Build cable pathways while avoiding electrical and structural obstructions
- Build, mount, and dress server racks
- Mount and test cameras, access points, access panels, and fire alarm hardware
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and quality checks
- Ensure work complies with NEC and low-voltage codes
- Maintain productivity, safety, and quality standards on site
Required Skills- Low-voltage security systems installation
- Service and troubleshooting experience
- Video surveillance systems
- Cat6 structured cabling installation and testing
- Blueprint reading

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
