Job Title: Adobe Architect

Location: Remote

Duration: 12+ Months contract

We are seeking a seasoned Adobe Experience Cloud Technical Architect with deep expertise across Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Analytics, Adobe personalization and decisioning tools, and enterprise web architecture. This role leads the strategy, design, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high performing digital experiences for clients in regulated sectors" especially healthcare.
The architect will guide platform evaluation and selection, design the end to end Adobe based ecosystem, and define how Adobes data and experience services integrate with existing enterprise systems" including Microsoft SQL" based Benefits Administration platforms" while advising executive level stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities
o Client Advisory
o Serve as a trusted advisor in pre-sales and post-sales engagements.
o Translate business and experience requirements into technical roadmaps and Adobe-centered solution architectures.
o Develop qualitative and quantitative criteria to evaluate Adobe solutions (AEP, Analytics, Target, RTCDP, AJO) aligned with client goal" balancing budget, scalability, and long term sustainability of the web and data ecosystem.

Solution Architecture & Strategy
o Design and govern enterprise-scale Adobe Experience Cloud architectures, including AEP data pipelines, identity stitching, analytics models, personalization decisioning, and multi channel orchestration.
o Create and present/defend conceptual logical physical architectures using C4 style diagrams, defending recommendations to technical and business leaders.
o Define content models, workflows, and governance frameworks" leveraging Adobe CMS capabilities and structured content foundations.
o Architect data flows between Adobe systems and enterprise data sources, including the Microsoft SQL" based Benefits Admin platform, ensuring accurate identity resolution and audience activation.
o Incorporate AI driven search and personalization patterns to simplify web experiences and improve effectiveness.

Technical Leadership
o Lead and support cross-functional teams of developers, scrum master and content authors, while working alongside design and UX teammates.
o Partner with product and UX to evaluate and size features, requirements, and lead continuous estimation efforts to maximize value for clients.
o Establish best practices for coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, and performance optimization.
o Mentor team members and foster a culture of technical excellence with quality built-in to standard processes.
o Lead experimentation, prototyping, and trying new things to validate strategic concepts and accelerate feature, component, template, page and experience creation.
o Support prioritization, sizing and other agile processes and ways of working to maximize throughput and minimize defects.

Integration & Development
o Architect integrations with APIs, benefits administration platforms, analytics, personalization/testing tools, and identity systems as well as other Enterprise APIs and microservices
o Understand and successfully architect integrations throughout a composable Adobe and other solution ecosystem:
o Adobe Experience Platform (ingestion, identity, datasets)
o Adobe Analytics
o Adobe Target & Personalization engines
o Adobe Journey Optimizer
o Oversee front end development (React, Angular, Vue.js) and backend services (Node.js, TypeScript), ensuring seamless integration with Adobe tools and data environments.
o Has a keen eye for SEO, WCAG 2.0 AA accessibility, regulatory compliance, and adherence to client and architectural review boards.

Required Qualifications
o 10+ years in web architecture and CMS implementation within healthcare, finance, or regulated sectors.
o Familiarity with HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR compliance requirements and creating secure experiences that leverage data to support member/user goals.

Technical Skills:
o Expertise in Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe RTCDP, and omnichannel personalization and decisioning.
o API first design, microservices, cloud native architecture.
o Strong proficiency in JavaScript frameworks and backend services (React, Angular, Node.js, TypeScript).
o Knowledge of caching, CDNs, performance optimization, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
o Understanding of SEO principles.
o Experience with content migration and testing frameworks.
