Job Title: z/TPF Developer/Mainframe Consultant with z/TPF
Location: Remote
Employment Type:12+ Months Contract
Must Have Skills
- Hands-on experience in assessing and optimizing the IBM z/TPF platform, including performance, stability, and capacity
- Strong expertise in evaluating application estate and using tools such as IBM OMEGAMON and IBM Tivoli Monitoring along with external monitoring solutions
- Proven ability to identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimization strategies across platform and applications
Key requirements for TPF role.
- Must have experience with z/TPF Software Profiler and z/TPF Message analysis tools.
- Hands-on experience with z/TPF using TPF Operations Server to determine whether a program is active and functioning
- Must have experience with IBM TPF Toolkit, debugging tools.
- Should be proficient in High-Level Assembler (HLASM), C/C++, and TPFDF.
- Should have good knowledge of IBM z/TPF operating system and associated ISV products.
- Should be specialized in analysing complex assembler and C/C++ code and generating size & dependency analysis reports of z/TPF code
- Experience in Design, code, unit test using IBM Tool Kit
- 4-6+ years of recent full-time experience in z/TPF application development, maintenance, or system programming.
- Experience in any of these industries (e.g., Credit Card processing /Fraud detection, Banking, Railroad or Airlines Reservations & ticketing where z/TPF is used).
