EDI Consultant

We are seeking an experienced EDI Consultant to ensure the stability, reliability, and accuracy of electronic data interchange (EDI) processes within the IBM Sterling B2B Integrator environment. The consultant will support seamless data exchange between the organization and its trading partners through the IBM Value-Added Network (VAN).

• Maintain, test, and configure EDI transactions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to EDI transactions, data integration, and partner connectivity.

• Collaborate with internal teams and trading partners to ensure EDI standards and business requirements are met.

• Monitor and support the accurate and timely exchange of data between the organization and its trading partners through the IBM VAN.

• Assist with onboarding and configuration of new trading partners and EDI transactions.

• Manage assigned EDI project tasks, deliverables, and timelines.

• Coordinate with EDI team members, internal stakeholders, and trading partners to ensure successful project execution.

• Support testing and implementation activities for EDI changes and enhancements.

• Develop and maintain detailed documentation for EDI transactions, configurations, workflows, and system changes.

• Maintain accurate records of EDI configurations and troubleshooting activities.

• Ensure EDI processes comply with applicable IT regulations, standards, security policies, and organizational requirements.

• Hands-on experience with EDI transaction management and support.

• Strong experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.

• Experience with IBM VAN or similar value-added network environments.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to EDI transactions and integrations.

• Experience working with trading partners and internal business/technical teams.

• Understanding of EDI standards and transaction processing.

• Strong documentation and project coordination skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Experience supporting enterprise-scale EDI environments.

• Experience with EDI testing, implementation, and production support.

• Familiarity with data integration and B2B connectivity.

• Experience managing multiple EDI-related tasks and priorities.
