Job Summary: D365 SCM Functional Consultant
- Lead onsite analysis and solution design for end-to-end supply chain operations leveraging D365.
- Conduct discovery and fit-to-standard workshops across procurement, inventory, WMS, planning, manufacturing, quality, and transportation.
- Define and document configuration, master-data, integration, and reporting requirements.
- Prepare functional specifications for system extensions and interfaces.
- Lead conference-room pilots, end-to-end scenario testing, UAT, and ensure operational readiness.
- Identify and support AI-enabled SCM opportunities for planning, exception management, and operational insights.
- Support system cutover, hypercare, and user adoption activities.
- Collaborate directly with plant, warehouse, and logistics stakeholders.
- Utilize deep expertise in at least two SCM areas (e.g., WMS, planning, manufacturing, procurement, or transportation).
- Apply knowledge of supply-demand, costing dependencies, master data, and intercompany flows.
- Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified Dynamics 365 SCM Functional Consultant Associate (MB-330); APICS/ASCM, Lean, or process improvement certifications a plus.
- Experience with advanced WMS, mobile-device processes, planning optimization, landed cost, barcode/automation/3PL/carrier integrations, and retail, manufacturing, or distribution industries is an advantage.
