Job Title: DevOps Engineer Location: Reston Virginia 20190 (3 days onsite) Duration: 12+ Months Contract with Extension Job id - FNMAJP00039799 Overview We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to own CI/CD, platform automation, and infrastructure as code supporting ML and analytics workloads. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with GitLab CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and operational excellence across AWS environments.
Responsibilities Own CI/CD pipelines and automation for build, test, and deployment processes.
Develop and maintain GitLab pipelines with manual approval gates for controlled promotions.
Manage Terraform IaC and provision dev/test/prod environments.
Build and maintain secure, scalable container images and deployment configurations.
Implement observability, logging, rollback strategies, and cost monitoring processes.
Collaborate with platform, ML engineering, security, and governance teams to ensure reliability and compliance.
Required Skills & Experience Hands on experience with GitLab CI/CD
Strong Terraform IaC expertise
Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with AWS services, including IAM, ECR, ECS/EKS, and SageMaker
Knowledge of observability practices, cost monitoring, and cloud operations
Background in AWS and AI engineering best practices
Develop and maintain financial software applications.Work closely with the finance team to understand their needs and translate them into functional software.Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products. 8-10 years
