Business Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Business Analyst to support their data team in Jacksonville, FL. This role focuses on translating business needs into effective data and reporting solutions. The analyst works closely with stakeholders and technical teams to define requirements, analyze data, and support the design, testing, and validation of reports, dashboards, and data systems.

Summary:
Responsibilities include ensuring data accuracy across platforms, documenting processes and data flows, supporting Agile workflows, and maintaining standards and best practices. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, clear communication, attention to detail, and the ability to use data to support operational and strategic decision-making.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience analyzing business data and supporting reporting or analytics solutions
* Ability to gather, interpret, and document business and technical requirements
* Strong collaboration skills to work between business stakeholders and technical teams
* Experience supporting dashboards, reports, KPIs, and performance metrics
* Ability to validate data accuracy and consistency across multiple systems
* Experience with data mapping, data models, and process documentation
* Knowledge of data quality, testing, and issue resolution practices
* Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development environments
* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to clearly communicate insights, updates, and findings to leadership
* Understanding of business processes, including financial or operational workflows
* Commitment to documentation standards, best practices, and continuous improvement

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
