Oracle ERP Lead (Support Project)

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle ERP Lead to manage a US-based Oracle ERP support project. The role involves overall ownership of Oracle ERP applications across all modules, acting as both functional lead and technical manager. The candidate will be responsible for application stability, enhancements, integrations, stakeholder management, and team leadership.

This position requires strong hands-on ERP knowledge, excellent support governance skills, and the ability to manage onshore/offshore teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• ERP Support Leadership
• Serve as the overall Oracle ERP Lead for production support and minor enhancements
• Own end-to-end application support including incident, problem, change, and release management
• Act as the single point of contact for ERP-related issues and escalations
• Ensure SLA adherence, system availability, and operational stability
• Functional Oversight All Modules
• Provide leadership and guidance across all Oracle ERP modules, including:
• Finance (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM)
• Supply Chain (PO, Inventory, BOM, WIP, Planning)
• Order Management & Logistics
• Projects & Costing
• HCM / Payroll (if applicable)
• Support business users with issue resolution, root cause analysis, and process improvements
• Coordinate cross-module impacts and dependencies

Technical & Architecture Management

• Lead and manage technical support teams (Oracle Apps Technical / OAF / PL/SQL / Reports / Interfaces)
• Oversee:
• Custom objects and extensions
• Integrations with third-party systems
• Data fixes, performance tuning, and automation
• Ensure proper documentation, coding standards, and change controls
• Manage patching, upgrades, and environment coordination
• Stakeholder & Client Management
• Engage directly with US-based business stakeholders and IT leadership
• Provide regular status reports, metrics, and risk updates
• Lead governance calls, escalation meetings, and service reviews
• Translate business issues into functional and technical solutions
• Team & Delivery Management
• Manage onshore/offshore support teams
• Mentor functional and technical leads
• Coordinate shift coverage, ticket prioritization, and workload planning
• Support transition, KT, and stabilization activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 10 15 years of Oracle ERP experience, with at least 3 5 years in a lead role
• Strong experience in Oracle ERP Application Support projects
• Hands-on knowledge of Oracle Finance and SCM modules
• Strong understanding of Oracle technical components and integrations
• Proven experience managing US clients and global delivery teams
• Preferred Skills
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite and/or Oracle ERP Cloud
• ITIL-based support model experience
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in managing critical production issues and escalations
• Prior experience supporting enterprise-scale ERP environments
