IT Application Trainer

Location: Richmond, VA

Work Arrangement: Onsite (Requires a combination of classroom and onsite training environments).

Employment Type: Contract.

Interview Mode: Choice of In-person or Webcam.

Travel: Occasional travel for onsite training sessions may be required.

Training Delivery: Lead both instructor-led classroom sessions and virtual webinars for new and existing health applications.

Content Development: Design and maintain high-quality learning materials, including user guides, quick reference sheets, instructional videos, and e-learning modules.

Workflow Customization: Tailor training content to specific user roles and clinical configurations to ensure relevance and usability.

Systems Support: Facilitate hands-on demonstrations during system rollouts, upgrades, and major go-live events.

Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations of user proficiency and recommend targeted learning approaches to close knowledge gaps.

Collaboration: Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), partnering with vendor teams and Health Services to align training with technical system capabilities.

Application Training: Minimum 5 years of experience in software implementation training, application education, or user-focused technical instruction.

Instructional Tools: 5 years of experience developing materials using tools such as LMS platforms, PowerPoint, or video authoring software.

Facilitation: At least 3 years of experience in high-level presentation and facilitation for diverse professional audiences.

Technical Communication: Proven ability to translate complex technical specifications into clear, user-friendly instructions.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Education, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
