We are seeking a Cloud Site Reliability Engineer with deep Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) expertise to help build a fully automated, repeatable, and scalable internal cloud platform. This role is central to creating a software-defined development environment that can be consistently replicated across the organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience automating and operating large-scale cloud and virtualization environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Automate and operate large-scale VCF 9.x, vSphere, Aria Suite, and NSX-T environments.
- Codify infrastructure, configuration, and operational workflows.
- Integrate Infrastructure-as-Code into CI/CD pipelines and automated workflows.
- Manage cloud platform operations, including monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and development teams within an Agile framework.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 7+ years of hands-on experience with large-scale VMware environments.
Technical Skills:- Primary Skill: Python.
- Secondary Skill: Ansible.
- Tertiary Skill: YAML.
- VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9.x, vSphere, NSX-T, and Aria Suite (vRealize).
- Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and YAML-based declarative models.
- Cloud Computing, VMWARE ESX, and VMware NSX-t.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of ITIL processes.
- Hands-on experience with Cohesity, Netbackup, or Avamar products.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git or Bitbucket.
- 5+ years of software development experience with some exposure to network programming and protocols.
- Solid understanding of network concepts, including load balancers, routing, subnets, and firewalls.
