POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Inadev is seeking a Data Architect to assist in the design and delivery of data and AI solutions that transform complex, multi-source data into actionable business insights. This role partners with clients and cross-functional teams to define objectives, architect analytical solutions, and support data ingestion, modeling, and reporting across structured and unstructured data sources. The ideal candidate will apply modern data platforms and analytics techniques to manage risk, enable scalable solutions, and deliver measurable outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Support the delivery of data / AI engagements, including definition of objectives / key deliverables while managing and mitigating risks in data, modeling, validation, and delivery.
- Support workshops and innovation sessions with clients, multi-disciplinary, and cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, define problem statements, and design high level analytical solutions.
- Engage with clients to discover data sources and create data requests; Engage in data discovery and ETL/ELT processes to ingest structured data and annotation processes to enrich unstructured data leveraging a variety of data sources (social media, news, internal / external documents, financial data, operational data).
- Support the creation of analytics and machine learning models through all phases of development, from design through training, evaluation, validation, and implementation.
- Define, monitor, and report key business metrics.
- Design, implement, and manage various reporting processes and dashboards
- Leverage a variety of modern big data tools and approaches to solve complex business objectives.
NON-TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a US Cit.
- Must be willing to work 100% onsite in St Louis, MO
- Must be open and have the ability to travel as required to support customer requirements.
- Ability to pass a 7-year background check and obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Clearance

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
- Must possess a Bachelor s degree from an accredited college/university in a technical discipline.
- Must possess at least 5 years of professional hands-on experience Data Architecture.
- Must have professional hands-on experience and familiarity with Data Lake / Data Warehouse architecture, design, implementation, dimensional modeling, data profiling, and source to target mapping best practices.
- Must have professional hands-on experience and familiarity with data governance and management strategies, including data standards, data policies, metadata management, master data management.
- Must have professional hands-on experience utilizing data modeling tools such as ERWin, ER Studio, Power Designer, IBM Data Architect.
- Must possess strong SQL skills and working knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL; knowledge of distributed databases such as Netezza, Teradata, Amazon Redshift etc.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
- Federal government consulting/contracting experience preferred.
