Job Title: Sr. Azure System Administrator (Cleared)
Location: Alexandria, VA (Onsite)

Overview:
Syneren Technologies is seeking a Sr. Azure System Administrator to manage and secure Azure Government cloud and on-prem VMware infrastructure. This role ensures system performance, compliance, and supports migration, monitoring, and disaster recovery efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer Azure and VMware environments
Manage Active Directory, GPOs, and RBAC
Migrate systems from on-prem to Azure Gov cloud
Implement security controls and patch management
Support audits, compliance (STIG, RMF), and reporting
Configure CI/CD pipelines and automate tasks
Provide Tier 3 support and troubleshoot system issues
Qualifications:
8+ years in federal system administration
5+ years managing Azure Gov services
Experience with Windows Server 2019/2022
Azure Administrator Associate certification or higher
IAT Level II certification (Security+, SSCP, etc.)
BA in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Preferred:
Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service
Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification
Working Conditions:
Standard office environment
May require extended hours
Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs
