Description
Maintain essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
Take responsibility for projects and solutions within the larger business initiative.
Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration.
Analyze departmental needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions.
Ensure network components work together seamlessly to meet business needs, using their full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitor solutions.
Analyze processes, technologies, and vendors continually to find areas for improvement.
Prepare cost-benefit analyses when upgrades are necessary, and monitor vendors to ensure that they are offering the best possible service and value for business needs.
Train employees to use software and hardware; troubleshoot issues and provide technical support when needed.
Mentors, interviews, hires, trains, reviews, supervises, and discipline employees.
Develop and execute disaster planning and maintain data backups.
Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization
Managing and reporting on allocation of IT budget
Identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement
Develop and implement policies related to network security, disaster recovery, and IT infrastructure.
Analyze resource utilization and develop strategies to optimize performance.
Establish, measure, and define IT goals and maintain an IT roadmap.
Monitor and analyze the success of IT initiatives and projects and continually develop and evaluate new technologies and tools for the company.
Establish a security policy to protect company information and resources.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, or a related field. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT management Preferred Education and Experience:

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises all employees involved in the IT department. activities. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; assisting management with appraising performance; rewarding employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
