Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior SAP BASIS Consultant to support SAP systems administration, technical operations, performance, and production support. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with SAP BASIS activities and be available to start immediately.

 Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day SAP BASIS administration and support.
• Manage SAP system installations, configurations, upgrades, patches, and maintenance.
• Monitor SAP system health, performance, availability, and capacity.
• Perform SAP system refreshes, client administration, and transport management.
• Troubleshoot SAP application, system, performance, and connectivity issues.
• Manage SAP users, roles, authorizations, and technical administration in coordination with security teams.
• Support SAP kernel upgrades, Support Package updates, and system maintenance activities.
• Work with SAP HANA/database teams on performance and system administration issues.
• Monitor background jobs, RFCs, interfaces, and system logs.
• Support high availability, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery activities.
• Coordinate with functional teams, infrastructure teams, database administrators, and other technical teams.
• Participate in production support, incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and change management.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP BASIS administration.
• Experience supporting SAP production environments.
• Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture and landscape management.
• Experience with SAP transports, system copies/refreshes, upgrades, patches, and installations.
• Experience with SAP HANA administration/support.
• Knowledge of SAP performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Experience with SAP NetWeaver and/or S/4HANA environments.
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager or equivalent monitoring/administration tools is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large enterprise SAP landscapes.
• Experience supporting high-availability and disaster-recovery environments.
• Knowledge of cloud-based SAP environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
• SAP BASIS certification is a plus.
