Job Description:
The Technical Program Manager ensures structured execution across all four engagement phases. This role owns cadence, risk management, onboarding readiness, knowledge capture validation, and metrics tracking.
You are the operational backbone of the pod.
Core Responsibilities
Program Governance
- Run weekly delivery syncs
- Maintain RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
- Track sprint progress against phase objectives
- Coordinate milestone reviews
Knowledge Capture Leadership
- Drive structured SME interview cadence (Pune alignment)
- Ensure documentation artifacts meet validation criteria
- Track playbook completeness & freshness SLA
- Reduce knowledge silo risk
Access & Onboarding Management
- Ensure Day-0 access readiness
- Coordinate repo, log, and tool access provisioning
- Manage onboarding checklist
- Track time-to-productivity metrics
Metrics Ownership
Baseline Target Final comparison across:
Reliability
- MTTD
- MTTR
- Incident trend
Delivery Health
- Deployment success rate
- Gate compliance %
- Test coverage trend
Knowledge
- Onboarding duration
- SME escalation cycle time
Stakeholder Communication
- Provide weekly status reports
- Escalate blockers early
- Support monthly executive readouts
- Maintain alignment with Platform Services leadership
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years consulting experience in delivery coordination
- Strong stakeholder management
- Experience managing technical programs (DevOps/engineering)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience tracking operational metrics
Preferred
- Experience in mainframe-adjacent environments
- Familiarity with enterprise log ecosystems
- Experience supporting stability-focused engagements
Success Indicators
- Engagement phases delivered on time
- Access delays minimized
- Risks surfaced early and mitigated
- Clear baseline improvement metrics reported
- Smooth transition/handoff at Phase 4
