Job Description

• Responsibilities: About Us:
  Join our innovative ATM IT team at one of the largest banks in the US supporting 2,200+ Fifth Third ATMs alongside a network of 40,000+ partner ATMs. We are currently working on modernizing our ATM channel (both hardware and software) and alongside supporting a major debit card modernization effort. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of the biggest IT projects in the industry.

• Full lifecycle application development
• Designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages.
• Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis
• Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD)
• Design and implement Java Spring applications using OpenShift
• Software modeling and simulation
• Back end architecture, design, and development
• Software testing and quality assurance
• Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation.
• Support, maintain and document software functionality
• Integrate software with existing systems
• Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation
• Maintain standards compliance
• Manage code repositories and collaborate using GitHub.
• Implement localization or globalization of software
• Undergraduate degree in computer engineering, computer science, information technology or a related discipline.

Qualifications:

• Understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new programming languages
• Proficiency in Java, Java Spring, Openshift, HTML, CSS, scripting.
• Ability to design and develop Splunk and Dynatrace dashboards for monitoring and alerting
• Strong soft skills for effective collaboration with team members and external partners.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Test Automation tools
• Knowledge of ATM Terminal Driving and Testing
• Expierence with ATM Software for Diebold (Vista, VCP7, TM, Vynamic Vision, Vynamic View), NCR (Vision), etc.
• Ideal candidates bring natural leadership qualities and a collaborative mindset, and are comfortable working onsite alongside the team to drive modernization efforts, improve engineering processes, and foster strong communication

Location: 5 days per week in office at the MOB
