Role: Healthcare Data Engineer - Epic Clarity & Cogito

Job Description:
You will build and manage the Epic data foundation that powers Client’s Healthcare Brain inside provider organizations. Working across Epic Clarity, Cogito, Caboodle, Reporting Workbench, and healthcare analytics platforms, you will design data pipelines, reporting solutions, and AI-ready datasets that support medical review, risk adjustment, quality measurement, referral management, and population health initiatives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Epic Clarity data extraction, transformation, and healthcare reporting solutions.
• Caboodle dimensional modeling and enterprise healthcare analytics frameworks.
• ETL pipelines between Epic environments and Genzeon''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''s AI platforms.
• Reporting Workbench, Cogito, Radar, and operational dashboard development.
• Risk adjustment, HCC, RAF, RADV, and quality-measure data initiatives.
• HEDIS, CMS STAR Ratings, MIPS, ACO REACH, and population health reporting.
• Audit, compliance, governance, and healthcare data quality frameworks.
• Customer-facing engagement with Epic, BI, clinical informatics, and compliance teams.
Required Skills:
• 5+ years of healthcare data engineering, analytics, or healthcare reporting experience.
• Hands-on Epic Clarity experience in production healthcare environments.
• Epic Cogito certification or equivalent Clarity reporting expertise.
• Strong SQL Server / T-SQL skills including performance tuning and query optimization.
• Experience with Caboodle, Reporting Workbench, and Epic reporting ecosystems.
• ETL expertise using SSIS, Azure Data Factory, dbt, Matillion, Fivetran, or similar tools.
• Healthcare data modeling knowledge including encounters, diagnoses, medications, labs, and clinical workflows.
• Experience supporting HEDIS, CMS STAR, Risk Adjustment, HCC, RAF, or quality-measure programs.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Crystal Reports, or enterprise BI platforms.
• Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Claude-first engineering mindset and experience using AI-assisted development workflows.

• Epic Clarity Data Model and Caboodle certifications.
• Healthy Planet, population health, or care management experience.
• CMS-HCC, RADV, Medicare Advantage, or value-based care expertise.
• Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or modern healthcare analytics platforms.
• HL7 FHIR R4 and healthcare interoperability knowledge.
• Experience with provider-side AI, analytics, or healthcare automation initiatives.
• Anthropic Claude API or Claude Code experience in production environments.
