DevOps Engineer
Gromelski and Associates, Inc. (GAI) partners with prime contractors to provide professional services. Key service areas include Engineering Design and Documentation; Software Development and Testing; System Integration, Testing and Evaluation; Lab Management and Field Installation; Integrated Logistics Support, Training Development and Delivery, Multimedia Support, and Technical System Support.
DevOps Engineer Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Configuration Management (CM) for multi-repository system
System and component compilation and troubleshooting
Task automation and virtualization (Ansible, OpenStack, libvirt, qemu, etc.)
DevOps Engineer Required Skills:
Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Gitlab, Git, etc.)
Good working knowledge of Linux (particularly RHEL)
Familiarity with scripting (bash, python, etc.)
Good communication and collaboration
Containerization (Docker, podman, Kubernetes, etc.)
DevOps Engineer Desired Skills:
Linux system administration (nfs, crontab, ssh, etc.)
Familiarity with artifact storage (Artifactory) and applicable APIs
Familiarity with compilation tools (*make, ant, gradle, etc.)
DevOps Engineer Additional Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineer or related discipline and at least 1 year of experience; or equivalent experience/combined education.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
