Work you'll do

As a Payments and Digital Assets Product Lead on the Banking and Capital Markets team, you will be responsible for:
  • Supporting delivery of payments and digital assets product, roadmap, and transformation engagements for banking and capital markets clients
  • Managing day-to-day workstream activities across product strategy, business requirements definition, backlog prioritization, process design, and implementation planning
  • Translating client business objectives and user needs into business requirements, user stories, target-state process flows, product roadmaps, and delivery artifacts
  • Coordinating with business, operations, engineering, design, risk, and compliance stakeholders to support execution of product and transformation initiatives
  • Developing analyses, status updates, workshop materials, and recommendations for client stakeholders to support decision-making and implementation

The Banking and Capital Markets sector serves universal and regional banks, capital markets and securities firms, and payment networks with U.S. operations. The team focuses on delivering customer insights, growth and digital strategies, operational transformation, human capital, and technology modernization services to bank executives. We help clients address regulatory reform, technological modernization, competitive dynamics, and market growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of experience in product management, program management, business analysis, technology delivery, or transformation roles in banking, financial services, or consulting
  • 4+ years of experience supporting or leading workstreams within product, technology, or business transformation programs
  • Experience translating business needs into business requirements, user stories, backlogs, process flows, implementation roadmaps, or other product delivery artifacts, and coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders across business, operations, technology, risk, compliance, or design teams
  • Experience in at least one of the following domains: payments (real-time payments, cross-border payments, card networks, automated clearing house (ACH), wire, International Organization for Standardization 20022 (ISO 20022)) or digital assets (blockchain, distributed ledger technology, tokenization, central bank digital currencies, stablecoins)
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
  • Advanced degree
  • Experience with product operating models, product roadmaps, or requirements management within financial services
  • Experience with payments-related technology platforms, application programming interfaces (APIs), integration patterns, digital wallets, or blockchain platforms
  • Experience in one or more of the following sectors: retail banking, commercial banking, transaction banking, wholesale banking, cards and payments, private equity, or capital markets
  • Experience with agile, Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), or other product and program delivery methodologies
  • Experience developing business cases, executive presentations, product requirements documents, or implementation recommendations for financial services clients
  • Experience presenting to business and technology stakeholders in a client-facing environment
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $118,700 to $218,600.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
