End User Migration Technician

Description

We are looking for a skilled End User Migration Technician to join our team on a contract basis in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting end users with hardware installations, troubleshooting, and equipment setup. This position requires expertise in computer hardware and associated devices, as well as strong problem-solving skills to ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware and related peripherals for end users.
Perform cable installations to ensure proper connectivity and functionality.
Set up and maintain devices from Dell Technologies and Apple, ensuring compatibility and performance.
Provide technical support to resolve equipment issues and address user concerns.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth hardware migrations and installations.
Conduct regular system checks to verify hardware performance and reliability.
Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and configurations.
Educate users on proper equipment usage and basic troubleshooting techniques.
Ensure all hardware installations comply with company standards and safety guidelines.

Requirements

Proficiency in working with computer hardware and associated devices.
Hands-on experience with cable installation and connectivity solutions.
Knowledge of Dell Technologies and Apple devices.
Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues efficiently.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills to interact with end users and team members.
Familiarity with maintaining detailed documentation of technical processes.
Commitment to adhering to company policies and safety standards.
