End User Migration Technician

Description

We are looking for an End User Migration Technician to join our team on a contract basis in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will provide technical support and expertise to ensure seamless hardware setup and software integration for end users. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer hardware and peripherals, along with experience in cable installation and supporting Apple and Dell technologies.

Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware and peripherals to ensure optimal functionality.
Perform cable installations and verify connections to meet technical requirements.
Support end users with the setup and operation of Apple devices and Dell technologies.
Conduct hardware migrations and ensure all systems are properly integrated.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to associated computer hardware.
Maintain accurate documentation of installations, configurations, and resolved issues.
Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient technical solutions.
Ensure compliance with company standards and best practices during installations.
Provide timely updates to management on project progress and challenges.
Offer training and guidance to end users on hardware operations and best practices.

Requirements

Proven experience with computer hardware installation and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in cable installation and managing connections.
Familiarity with Dell technologies and Apple devices.
Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues efficiently.
Strong organizational skills to document processes and maintain records.
Effective communication skills to support end users and collaborate with teams.
Capacity to work independently and deliver results within tight deadlines.
Commitment to ensuring compliance with company standards and protocols.
