Role: Senior Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer
Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract W2
Responsibilities:
Developing data pipelines and other data products using Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
Advising clients on specific technologies and methodologies for utilizing cloud resources to efficiently ingest and process data quickly
Utilizing your skills in engineering best practices to solve complex data problems
Collaborating with end users, development staff, and business analysts to ensure that prospective data architecture plans maximize the value of client data across the organization.
Articulating architectural differences between solution methods and the advantages/disadvantages of each
Required Skills:
5+ years of data engineering experience.
Strong Python and SQL skills.
Hands-on experience building production data pipelines in AWS.
Experience with ETL/ELT architecture and orchestration frameworks.
Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational database design.
Experience implementing automated data-quality processes.
Experience building APIs or data services.
Understanding of data governance, lineage, security and access-control principles.
