Security Director

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Remote Security Director to oversee and coordinate our organization's security operations, policies, and procedures. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety of company assets, data, and personnel across all locations while maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive security policies, protocols, and procedures.

Lead and manage security teams across multiple regions remotely.

Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats.

Monitor security systems, including surveillance, access controls, and cybersecurity measures.

Respond to security incidents, coordinate investigations, and implement corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards related to security.

Collaborate with IT, HR, and other departments to align security strategies.

Provide training and awareness programs for staff on security best practices.

Keep abreast of emerging security threats and industry trends.

Prepare reports and present security status updates to executive leadership.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in security management, preferably at an executive level.

Strong understanding of cyber security, physical security, and risk management.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work effectively remotely and manage distributed teams.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CPP, CISM) are a plus.

Experience in Security Management, Information Technology, or related field.
