Location: New York, NY (200 West Street, 10282)
Duration: 6-month contract
Pay Rate: $24.40/hr
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Asset Management Operations Analyst to join an Alternative Investment Client Services and Administrator Oversight team. This role supports private equity and hedge fund products by overseeing investor transactions, coordinating with fund administrators, and enhancing operational controls to deliver an exceptional client experience.
This position offers strong exposure to alternative investments, fund operations, investor servicing, and control oversight within a fast-paced asset management environment.
Key Responsibilities
Alternative Investment Operations
Oversee investor transactions in private equity and hedge fund vehicles
Ensure accurate trade-flow reporting to portfolio managers
Review trade waivers and correction requests from internal sales teams
Facilitate and monitor investor trade settlements
Administrator & Vendor Oversight
Manage relationships with fund administrators and transfer agents
Oversee servicing processes and ensure operational accuracy
Coordinate resolution of product servicing issues and errors
Controls & Process Improvement
Improve internal controls across accounting and operational processes
Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies
Enhance collection, maintenance, and reporting of product data attributes
Lead or support ad hoc operational projects
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor s degree
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven problem-solving ability
Team-oriented with leadership and accountability mindset
Preferred
1 3 years of financial services experience
Knowledge of alternative investments (private equity, hedge funds)
Experience with fund administration, investor services, or investment operations
