Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Analyst II for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is for a mid-level professional responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering and documenting requirements, and supporting the delivery of business and technology solutions. The position requires a minimum of 3 days per week onsite and involves working with moderate independence to manage stakeholder relationships and support key initiatives.
Responsibilities: - Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear requirements
- Document business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories
- Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
- Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support decision-making
- Evaluate business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend solutions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across teams
- Lead or support mid-sized projects and initiatives
- Assist with project planning, tracking, and delivery coordination
- Communicate with business and technical teams to validate requirements
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Ensure solutions meet acceptance criteria and business goals
- Maintain accurate documentation of processes, systems, and requirements
- Track project metrics and report on performance and outcomes
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field
- Typically 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or related roles
- Strong skills in data analysis, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement
- Proficiency in business process modeling and documentation
- Familiarity with tools such as Excel, SQL, and Power BI or Tableau
- Experience with Agile tools such as Jira or Confluence
Pay range: $36.18 - $44.18 per hour
