Job#: 3029271 Job Description: I&T Engineer (SW Testing)Location: Primary location will be in Colorado Springs, CO. Must be able to travel 30%. Candidates will be required to travel to Australia and to Eglin AFB, FL (3-4 weeks at a time).
Job Duties:- Performs software testing on the radar system.
- Prepare test plans, procedures, and reports.
- Support the development of system integration plans, procedures and scenarios used in the conduct of software/hardware system integration testing
- Ensure effective communication between assigned engineers and all other participants in the integration and testing process.
- Support agile software development team.
- Support the development of system test solutions in accordance with project technical, schedule and cost constraints.
- Participate in, prepare and execute comprehensive system/element level test plans and procedures.
- Support system/element level test planning and test readiness reviews
- Document test requirements and methodologies in the requirements management system.
- Review system engineering documentation to ensure test plans and methodologies meet system needs and are accurate, comprehensive, consistent and complete
- Participate in engineering peer reviews as a document originator or reviewer to ensure technical quality and engineering rigor is appropriate
- Assist team in development of innovative Test Automation solutions.
Qualifications:- Willingness and ability to support international travel up to 30%
- This position requires the successful candidate to have an active Top-Secret clearance
- Experience in the development of software requirement verification procedures.
- Experience conducting formal requirement verification test procedures.
- Experience preparing test reports.
Nice to Haves (but not required):- Experience working as part of an Integration and Test team across multiple engineering disciplines
- Experience as a member of a team integrating large, complex systems comprised of diverse HW and SW elements
- Ability to support Integration and Test/Checkout (IATC) of Hardware and Software configuration items
- Ability to document and record integration activities, including plans, procedures, results, and deficiencies
- International integration and/or test experience
- Software development integration and test methodologies
- Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies
- Experience with large ground data processing systems integration
