Job DetailsWe are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position, offering the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of innovative products. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Python, Java, Agile methodologies, DevOps, and code review. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer, you will:
1. Develop, integrate, and test firmware for embedded systems in our manufacturing processes.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system specifications and requirements.
3. Lead the design and implementation of software systems in Python, Java, and other programming languages.
4. Utilize Agile methodologies to manage the software development lifecycle, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of high-quality software solutions.
5. Leverage DevOps practices to streamline and automate processes, enhance software quality, and improve team productivity.
6. Conduct code reviews, identifying and addressing issues to ensure optimal performance and adherence to best practices.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing systems, improving stability and performance.
8. Stay abreast of the latest developments in embedded systems technologies and apply this knowledge to our operations.
9. Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
10. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
1. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in embedded systems engineering, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proficiency in Python, Java, and other programming languages.
4. Extensive experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
5. Proven experience in conducting code reviews and implementing best practices in software development.
6. Strong knowledge of embedded systems, including hardware design and optimization.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a knack for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
8. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
9. An ongoing commitment to learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in embedded systems engineering.
10. A track record of leading successful projects and mentoring junior engineers.
11. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to embedded systems in the manufacturing sector.
