Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
Lead the design, development, documentation, testing, debugging, and maintenance of new and existing software systems and applications using Java technologies.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, technical specification development, prototyping, and user requirement validation.
Serve as a technical expert by analyzing application performance, troubleshooting code issues, evaluating new technologies, and recommending software improvements and implementation approaches.
Coordinate development activities, estimates, project schedules, risk mitigation, client updates, and team expectations while providing technical guidance and performance feedback to team members
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
7+ years of overall IT experience.
8+ years of working experience as a Java Developer.
Experience with user interface design, application development, software troubleshooting, and full software development lifecycle activities.
Experience with performance testing frameworks, including Mocha and Jest.
Technical Skills:
Java, User Interface Design, Mocha, Jest, Performance Testing, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Technical Design, Application Debugging, Troubleshooting, Software Documentation
Business / Domain Skills:
Experience designing, developing, enhancing, and integrating enterprise applications, APIs, interfaces, workflows, and data-processing components supporting business operations.
Experience translating business requirements and user needs into technical specifications, application functionality, and software solutions.
Experience coordinating software development initiatives involving requirements analysis, solution design, testing, implementation, and ongoing application improvements.
Experience providing technical leadership, managing development priorities, coordinating delivery expectations, mitigating project risks, and collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams.
Communication:
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation:
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.
