Job Description:

We are hiring a Business Analyst Data & Financial Systems Specialist for a long-term contract opportunity.

This role requires a data-centric Business Analyst who can work at the field level, performing data profiling, data analysis, and source-to-target mapping within financial systems.

The ideal candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), bridging business stakeholders and technical teams, with hands-on experience in Fiserv and/or JPMorgan Chase platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data profiling and data analysis across large datasets
• Identify data quality issues, anomalies, and gaps
• Develop and maintain:
  • Data dictionaries
  • Business glossaries
  • Field-level mapping documentation
• Act as SME for data definitions and data flows
• Support source-to-target mapping and data lineage
• Gather and document business requirements
• Analyze datasets from Fiserv / Chase systems
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and data discovery sessions
• Convert requirements into functional specs and user stories
• Validate datasets and reports against business rules
• Communicate findings to both technical and non-technical teams

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in data profiling & data analysis
• Deep understanding of data field definitions & documentation
• Experience with data dictionaries and business glossaries
• Strong business analysis and requirements gathering skills
• Experience supporting source-to-target mapping
• Ability to work with large, complex datasets
• Strong communication and stakeholder management
