We are looking for Junior QA Analyst for our client in Atlanta, GA
Job Title: Junior QA Analyst
Job Location: Atlanta, GA
Job Type: Contract
Job Overview:
  • The Jr. QA Analyst is responsible for supporting software testing activities across applications, ensuring quality and performance standards are met.
  • This role involves creating test plans, executing tests, analyzing results, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in software testing within development projects.
  • Experience working on mid-scale or large-scale system development projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and document test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Execute manual and automated tests and analyze results.
  • Identify, document, and track defects and anomalies.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, PMO, and technical teams to understand requirements.
  • Support Agile testing processes and participate in sprint activities.
  • Assist in developing UAT scenarios and support UAT execution.
  • Participate in defect triage meetings and project demos.
  • Report testing status, risks, and issues to leadership.
  • Ensure testing activities are completed on time and aligned with project plans.
  • Prepare test data and validate system readiness for UAT.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and software testing concepts.
  • Experience with system, regression, performance, and security testing.
  • Ability to analyze system requirements and design documents.
  • Experience with requirement traceability and test documentation.
  • Familiarity with Agile and SDLC methodologies.
  • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Should Have:

  • Experience with GIS application testing.
  • Experience with mobile testing.
  • Familiarity with tools such as GitHub and ServiceNow.
  • Exposure to public sector projects.
  • Software testing certifications such as CAST, CSTE, CSQA, or CMSQ.

Qualification And Education:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
