Max Rate $50/hr

 

Job Description:

Seeking a highly skilled Data Architect with proven hands-on experience in designing and architecting end-to-end data integration solutions tailored to business and product needs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data integration patterns and extensive experience with modern cloud and data technologies. As a Data Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our data landscape, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure data flows across systems and products.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data integration solutions leveraging AWS, Snowflake, and other modern platforms.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and developers to understand product requirements and translate them into effective data integration designs.
  • Analyze business processes to identify and implement optimal data integration patterns (batch, streaming, event-driven, API-based, etc.).
  • Architect and optimize data pipelines and storage solutions using AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, etc.), Snowflake, and DBT.
  • Work closely with engineering teams, data analysts, and business users to ensure data solutions are fit-for-purpose and meet compliance/security standards.
  • Integrate data solutions with business productivity tools such as Power Apps and SharePoint for seamless data access and process automation.
  • Document architecture, data flows, and integration processes. Advocate and enforce best practices in data management, governance, and version control (using Github).

 

Education:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

 

Experience:

- 8+ years of experience in data engineering/architecture roles.

- Demonstrated hands-on experience designing and building data integration solutions in enterprise environments.

- Experience integrating data solutions with Power Apps and SharePoint.

- Proficiency in version control using Github and managing collaborative development environments.

- Deep understanding of data integration patterns (ETL/ELT, API, streaming, etc.).

- Familiarity with security, compliance, and data governance best practices.

- Experience with data cataloging, data lineage, and metadata management.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) is a plus.
