Android Developer

Introduction:

An Android Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Android applications. They will work closely with the team to create innovative mobile solutions that meet the needs of our users.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Android SDKs and APIs across OS versions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and design patterns.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and external web services.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Android development.
• Proficient in Kotlin programming language.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose for building UI.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and HTTP.
• Experience with Version Control Systems (VCS) like Git.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with unit testing and UI testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
