Summary

Requirements

5 or more years of experience in database administration for GIS and spatial database platforms.
Proficiency in Oracle 19c and SQL Server 2012 or newer database environments.
Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Server, and cloud-hosted GIS services.
Experience in PostgreSQL database administration and spatial data management.
Experience with Azure SQL and integrating cloud-based GIS solutions.
Experience in database performance monitoring, query tuning, and schema optimization.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design and optimize database schemas to meet enterprise GIS system requirements.
Perform daily operational database administration for SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
Execute database performance monitoring and tuning to ensure system efficiency.
Manage ArcGIS Enterprise and support cloud-hosted spatial data integrations.
Conduct code reviews for SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, and PostgreSQL scripts.
Develop comprehensive database administration procedures and technical documentation.
Collaborate on data architecture strategies aligned with security standards.
