Travel: Approximately 30-40% throughout North America, with occasional international travel. Candidates should be comfortable traveling to corporate offices, manufacturing facilities, and project locations as needed. Typical travel includes the Midwest, Montreal, and Tucson

Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior SAP S/4HANA Program Manager to play a key leadership role in a large-scale global ERP transformation within a complex manufacturing environment.
This position will lead planning and execution activities for the next phase of a global SAP S/4HANA deployment, partnering closely with business leaders, IT, global PMO teams, functional SMEs, and implementation partners. The ideal candidate is a seasoned program leader who thrives in highly matrixed organizations, excels at driving alignment across multiple stakeholders, and can successfully influence without direct authority.
While this role can be performed remotely, it requires significant travel to support manufacturing sites, business stakeholders, and project leadership throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning and execution activities for a major SAP S/4HANA deployment
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams across business and technology organizations
- Develop and manage integrated project plans, milestones, and interdependencies
- Own RAID management, issue escalation, and risk mitigation activities
- Deliver executive-level status reporting and project communications
- Partner closely with Global PMO leadership and implementation partners
- Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deployment readiness activities
- Support cutover planning and execution
- Facilitate governance meetings and executive steering committees
- Drive business readiness, organizational change, and stakeholder alignment
- Coordinate data readiness and cross-functional deliverables to ensure successful implementation
- Hold project teams accountable while fostering collaboration across a global organization

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience leading SAP S/4HANA implementation programs
- Extensive background managing large-scale ERP transformations
- Manufacturing industry experience
- Experience supporting multi-site or multi-plant deployments
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills
- Executive-level communication and presentation abilities
- Expertise managing RAID logs, integrated schedules, and complex dependencies
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive decisions without direct authority
- Exceptional facilitation, organization, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience
Experience with one or more SAP functional areas, including:
- SD
- MM
- PP
- FI/CO
- EWM
- APO (where applicable)
Additional experience with:
- Global ERP deployments
- Highly matrixed organizations
- Data migration initiatives
- Testing strategy and execution
- Cutover planning
- Organizational change management
Certifications
Preferred but not required:
- PMP
- Prosci Change Management
- Agile certifications
