Contract Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Contract Analyst. This is remote position, but the candidate must live near Dallas TX, Charlotte NC, Lenexa KS, Birmingham AL, Cedar Falls IA, or Springfield, MO.

Summary:
We are looking for a Contract Analyst (part time/20 hours) to assist us with building contract playbooks for third party agreements. This person should have a strong ability to utilize AI tools and should be well versed in legal contract review. They will be expected to work in a small team and collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and the Sourcing/Procurement department to best understand the process and needs.

Responsibilities:
* Review of company third party agreement templates to understand key terms and starting positions
* Research historic agreements to determine acceptable company positions in on key terms
* Work with the appropriate resources to build a comprehensive playbook to be utilized by the Legal and Sourcing/Procurement Departments
* Utilize AI tools (like Pramata) to operationalize the playbook to be used in contract redlining
* Conduct thorough testing of the playbooks to ensure accuracy, usability, and implement any needed updates
* Prepare training materials and other documents as needed to support the knowledge transfer of the playbooks
* May perform other job duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum 18 months of experience with commercial contracts
* Experience using AI tools and/or integrating them into processes

Nice to have:
* Completed Bachelor's degree
* Paralegal or legal assistant certificate from accredited educational program is a plus, but equivalent legal or contractual experience will be given equal consideration
* Prior experience developing or compiling contract playbooks

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
