Data/Information Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain logical data models, data architecture, and relational databases.

• Develop, optimize, and maintain advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, database scripts, and SSIS packages.

• Develop, configure, and support Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.5) applications and workflows.

• Perform Java application development, design, coding, and troubleshooting.

• Support Power BI dashboards, reports, and related data requirements.

• Analyze database performance, data volumes, and usage patterns to improve efficiency.

• Troubleshoot application and database issues in development and production environments.

• Support application deployments and migrations across Dev, QA, and Production environments.

• Perform unit, integration, and acceptance testing and maintain technical documentation.

• Follow secure coding practices, coding standards, automated testing, and continuous integration procedures.

• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to improve application reliability, performance, and service delivery.

• Provide production support, respond to service tickets, and participate in a shared 24/7 on-call rotation.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of database modeling, architecture, and development experience.

• 9+ years of state government experience.

• 10+ years of advanced SQL experience.

• 5+ years of experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.5).

• 4+ years of Java development, design, and coding experience.

• 5+ years of experience working with Agile methodologies.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field.

• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work effectively with business users, vendors, developers, and IT management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based solutions.

• PMP certification or another PMI-issued certification.

• Experience supporting enterprise applications, database performance, secure deployments, and production environments.

Important Requirements

• Candidates must be willing to participate in a shared 24/7 on-call rotation.

• Background screening will include nationwide criminal history checks covering the previous seven years, credit history checks, and E-Verify.

• South Carolina tax history will be reviewed for hired contractors; candidates must be current on applicable tax filings and payments.
