Job Title: ETL Developer
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled ETL Developer to design, build, and maintain ETL workflows and SQL Server database solutions that support data migration, integration, and analytics initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with SQL Server (T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS/SSAS), along with a strong background in performance tuning, and enterprise-scale ETL development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows to extract, transform, and load data between heterogeneous systems using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Write and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support business logic and data processing.
- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and application teams to write T-SQL queries based on define data mappings, transformation rules, and integration strategies.
- Implement data quality checks, error handling, and logging within ETL processes.
- Optimize ETL pipelines and queries for high performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL job failures, SQL Server performance, or data integrity.
- Create and maintain documentation for ETL processes, workflows, and database design.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, audit, and security standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 6+ experience as a SQL Server Developer, Database Developer, or Database Engineer.
- Strong expertise in SQL Server (T-SQL, query optimization, stored procedures, indexing, partitioning).
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and related tools.
- Solid understanding of relational database design, normalization, and data modeling.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration techniques.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
