Role Overview

Our client is seeking a results-driven Sales Manager – IT Services to lead revenue growth . This role is responsible for driving new business acquisition, expanding existing client relationships, and positioning IT services solutions across Data, Cloud, AI, and Digital Transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in consultative selling within IT services or consulting environments, with the ability to engage enterprise stakeholders and close high-value deals.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target industries
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Drive revenue growth through new logo acquisition and account expansion

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Establish and grow relationships with key decision-makers (CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and business leaders)
  • Act as a trusted advisor, aligning solutions to client business challenges
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and solution discussions

Deal Management & Closures

  • Own the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and close
  • Structure and negotiate complex, multi-year deals
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling proposals and pricing strategies

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with delivery, pre-sales, and solution teams to position services effectively
  • Ensure seamless transition from sales to delivery for client engagements
  • Provide market feedback to influence service offerings and go-to-market strategies

Required Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years of experience in IT services / consulting sales
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Experience selling one or more of the following:
    • Data & Analytics
    • Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
    • AI / Machine Learning
    • Digital Transformation services
  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles and stakeholder management
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing network of enterprise clients across the East Coast
  • Experience working within a consulting or systems integration environment
  • Ability to sell into specific verticals (Manufacturing , Construction ,Hitech, BFSI, Healthcare, etc.)
  • Experience managing large, complex deals ($500K – $5M+)
