We are seeking a Data Engineer to join a small, collaborative team responsible for managing and enhancing datasets in an Azure Fabric / Azure environment. The core database infrastructure is already built, so you will hit the ground running, optimizing pipelines, integrating new data sources, and ensuring high-quality, reliable datasets. This role offers autonomy, allowing you to take ownership of projects, challenge assumptions, and defend ideas in a collaborative setting.
You will design, optimize, and maintain Azure-based data pipelines, ensuring efficient processing, transformation, and storage of large-scale datasets. Your work will focus on pipeline performance, system reliability, and scalability, keeping the environment robust and production-ready. This is a highly technical, hands-on role with a focus on execution and problem-solving.
Required Skills & Experience - Proficiency with Azure Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and SQL for building and managing pipelines
- Knowledge of data modeling and schema design
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate and defend technical decisions in a small-team setting
Desired Skills & Experience - Experience with ETL pipeline design and optimization in cloud-based environments
- Experience maintaining high-performance, reliable production pipelines
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to improving systems and processes
Location - Onsite 5 days a week in Denver, CO
