We are seeking a Data Engineer to join a small, collaborative team responsible for managing and enhancing datasets in an Azure Fabric / Azure environment. The core database infrastructure is already built, so you will hit the ground running, optimizing pipelines, integrating new data sources, and ensuring high-quality, reliable datasets. This role offers autonomy, allowing you to take ownership of projects, challenge assumptions, and defend ideas in a collaborative setting.

You will design, optimize, and maintain Azure-based data pipelines, ensuring efficient processing, transformation, and storage of large-scale datasets. Your work will focus on pipeline performance, system reliability, and scalability, keeping the environment robust and production-ready. This is a highly technical, hands-on role with a focus on execution and problem-solving.

Required Skills & Experience

Proficiency with Azure Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and SQL for building and managing pipelines
Knowledge of data modeling and schema design
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate and defend technical decisions in a small-team setting

Desired Skills & Experience

Experience with ETL pipeline design and optimization in cloud-based environments
Experience maintaining high-performance, reliable production pipelines
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to improving systems and processes

Location

Onsite 5 days a week in Denver, CO
