Pay Range: $75 - $80/hour . Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities: -
- Lead end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity projects supporting financial systems and regulatory requirements.
- Manage initiatives such as IAM, Data Security, Cloud Security, SIEM, Vulnerability Management, GRC, and Third-Party Risk.
- Ensure compliance with financial industry regulations (FFIEC, SOX, GLBA, PCI-DSS, NIST, ISO 27001).
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate with security, infrastructure, application, audit, and compliance teams.
- Provide regular reporting to senior leadership and risk committees.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Support internal and external audit activities related to cybersecurity controls.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

- Cross-Functional Project Leadership
- 8–10 years of combined experience in Cybersecurity and IT Project Management.
- Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech environments.
- Strong understanding of financial regulatory and compliance frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage multiple security initiatives in parallel.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills.
- PMP or CAPM (preferred)
- CISSP, CISM, or Security+ (at least one preferred)
- CRISC (nice to have)
- ITIL Foundation (optional)
- Technical Knowledge:
- Experience with security tools such as Splunk, Sentinel, Qualys, Tenable, SailPoint, CyberArk, or similar.
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud security controls.
- Understanding of data protection, encryption, and access controls in financial systems.
