Day-to-Day Tasks
1. Research, Document and Guide the PeopleSoft Application Development team based on PeopleSoft best practices for implementing the application enhancements.
2. Provide technical direction to meet business needs
3. Work with other agencies and technical support teams in pursuit of technically excellent solutions
4. Produce technically excellent solutions architecture that is aligned to business needs and direction
5. Research, resolve, and test configurations
6. Support the proposed Peoplesoft enhancement project as required
7. Report out any roadblocks or technology gaps to Project Management in trying to fit all current state functionality in the new to-be design.

Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system.
Expert 84+ Months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
• 84 months experience writing Bash and Korn Shell scripting code to meet project requirements.
• 84 months experience with navigating and traversing Linux environments from a command line interface.
• 72 months experience implementing batch processing solutions using Shell scripting to automate system administration tasks, data processing, and file operations (such as: file manipulation, printing and emailing).
• 72 months experience in conducting requirement analysis and strategic analysis to drive the design, development, testing, and implementation of batch processes.
• 60 months experience in leading small development teams in an agile project environment.
• 36 months experience utilizing SQL Plus client to execute SQL logic in a UNIX/Linux environment.
