Description:

 

Diversified Systems is searching for an IT Consultant who will play the role of Salesforce Architect and is responsible for managing all aspects of Salesforce.com (SFDC) including configuration, customization and implementation of applications and 3rd party integrations. Role also includes collaborating with internal stakeholders and team members to build solutions in SFDC that support business requirements and processes for continuous improvement. The Developer should have proven experience with Lightning Aura Components, APEX programming, Force.com APIs.

 

 

Responsibilities:

Work with business teams to understand existing processes and translate business needs into actionable Salesforce requirements for configuration and development.

Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, including kickoff, requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, post‐production support, and user support.

Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce solutions to support evolving business needs.

Develop and deliver customized Salesforce reports and dashboards.

Manage user testing activities, including developing test plans and creating user test cases.

Create and maintain documentation for processes, policies, system configurations, and user guides.

Apply Salesforce.com best practices related to release management and deployment of changes from sandbox environments to production.

Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high‐quality business solutions on the Force.com platform.

Design and maintain Salesforce reporting solutions using Conga.

Maintain, enhance, and create workflows, Process Builder flows, Visual Flows, and other configurations within the Salesforce environment.

Develop and manage Salesforce Communities.

Proactively identify required system changes to improve functionality and performance.

Communicate upcoming system changes to users in advance to ensure understanding and readiness prior to implementation.

Develop and deliver advanced‐level customized reports and dashboards and respond to ad hoc reporting requests as needed.

Manage and implement third‐party integrations and troubleshoot issues with partner applications as they arise.

Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to determine Salesforce and related technologies, tools, and approaches that improve operational efficiency and enhance the customer experience.

Create project documentation, including user interface guides, training materials, functional documentation, and change orders.

Perform thorough unit testing of development deliverables and participate in business user acceptance testing.

Validate test cases and test results against documented requirements.

Develop complex, macro‐driven reports to summarize system information for senior management.

Apply Salesforce reporting best practices to prevent performance degradation as data volumes increase.

Support data migration efforts from legacy systems and processes into Salesforce.

Import data using Salesforce tools such as Data Loader as appropriate.

Log, troubleshoot, and resolve Salesforce system issues.

Monitor and manage exception logs for backend system integrations with Salesforce.

Mentor and train State development resources to build Salesforce platform knowledge and capability.

 

Requirements:

 

3 years of experience in development and architecture of applications using Salesforce platform technologies, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Communities required.

3 years of experience in Salesforce design, analysis, configuration, customization, and coding required.

3 years of experience working with the Salesforce data model and data migration and integration capabilities required.

3 years of experience using Salesforce data tools such as Data Loader, Salesforce Outlook Connector, Jitterbit, or similar tools required.

3 years of experience working within SCRUM and Agile development methodologies required.

3 years of experience developing in Apex and SOQL, JavaScript, and the Lightning Component Framework required.

3 years of experience building and managing Salesforce Communities required.
