Network Engineer

Requirements: Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in enterprise networking technologies and a proven track record designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise network solutions utilizing Arista, routing/switching, Nokia, and Palo Alto technologies
• Troubleshoot and resolve network performance issues and outages
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network security and optimization strategies
• Maintain and update network documentation and configurations
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
• Evaluate and recommend network infrastructure improvements

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• 7+ years of professional networking experience at the engineer level
• Advanced proficiency with Arista switching platforms
• Strong expertise in routing and switching protocols and architecture
• Hands-on experience with Nokia networking equipment
• Demonstrated experience with Palo Alto firewall and security solutions
• Solid understanding of cloud networking and integration (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
• Preferred: CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) certification
• Acceptable: CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification or equivalent industry certifications

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
• Capable of working in data center environments with varying temperature and noise levels
• Comfortable with climbing ladders and working at heights for equipment installation and maintenance
• Ability to stand, walk, and move about the workplace for extended periods
• Willingness to perform on-call support and emergency response duties as needed

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible)
• Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies
• Familiarity with network monitoring and analytics tools
• Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
