Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Golang Developer to join a high-performing team supporting enterprise-level applications for Amex. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development experience using Golang and expertise in building scalable, high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Golang
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding best practices
• Work with cloud technologies and modern CI/CD pipelines

Required Skills:
• 5+ years of software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Golang (Go)
• Experience with Microservices Architecture and REST APIs
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms is preferred
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD processes
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred:
• Experience working in enterprise environments
• Exposure to financial domain projects is a plus

Location Requirement:
• Candidate should be comfortable working in a Hybrid model from Phoenix, AZ.
