Senior Full Stack Developer (Java / Angular)

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer (Java / Angular) to contribute to the development, enhancement,
and production readiness of a complex enterprise web application supporting digital transformation and strategic business
operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience developing scalable backend services using Java and modern frontend
applications using Angular. This role involves delivering new application capabilities, integrating with enterprise systems, improving
application performance, and ensuring software quality, security, and maintainability.
The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional development teams, architects, and business stakeholders while
taking ownership of assigned features throughout the software development lifecycle, from technical design and implementation
through testing and deployment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack application features using Java and Angular.
• Develop and enhance RESTful APIs, backend services, and integrations with enterprise applications and data sources.
• Translate functional and business requirements into technical designs, reusable components, and maintainable code.
• Implement complex business workflows, hierarchical data structures, dashboards, and interactive user interfaces.
• Collaborate with architects and development teams to ensure alignment with established application architecture, coding
standards, and security requirements.
• Develop automated unit and integration tests to ensure application reliability, functionality, and code quality.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, application deployments, release activities, and production readiness.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application performance, scalability, and integration issues.
• Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, technical discussions, and peer code
reviews.
• Contribute to technical documentation, continuous improvement, and modernization of existing application capabilities.
• Leverage approved AI-assisted development tools where appropriate to improve development efficiency while maintaining
security and quality standards.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Technical Skills
• Java Backend Development: Strong hands-on experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot, including building scalable
backend services, implementing business logic, dependency injection, and exception handling.
• Angular Frontend Development: Advanced proficiency with Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web
application development, including reusable components, reactive forms, routing, and state management.

• RESTful API Development: Experience designing, developing, documenting, securing, and consuming REST APIs, including
JSON-based communication, API versioning, validation, and error handling.
• Database Development: Strong understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle, including
SQL queries, schema design, indexing, and performance optimization.
• Enterprise Application Architecture: Experience developing modular, maintainable enterprise applications using layered
architecture, object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and established design patterns.
• System Integration: Experience integrating applications with external enterprise systems, including bidirectional data
synchronization, authentication, data mapping, and integration error handling.
• Authentication and Security: Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, role-based access control (RBAC), secure API
development, and enterprise application security practices.
• CI/CD and DevOps: Experience with Git, automated build pipelines, Maven or Gradle, and continuous integration and
deployment practices.
• Automated Testing: Experience writing unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine, Jest, or equivalent
frameworks.
• Performance and Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve frontend/backend performance issues, API failures,
database bottlenecks, and production defects.
• AI-Assisted Development: Familiarity with approved AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development, testing, code
reviews, and documentation while maintaining code quality and security standards.

Professional Experience
• 6+ years of professional software development experience, preferably with significant hands-on Java and Angular
development.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale, full-stack web applications from development through production deployment.
• Experience working on complex applications involving multiple business functions, organizational hierarchies, workflows, and
interconnected data.
• Experience developing applications that support project tracking, resource planning, financial management, reporting, or
enterprise portfolio management.
• Demonstrated ability to independently translate functional requirements into technical designs and working software.
• Experience collaborating with software architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional engineering
teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, code reviews, and iterative software
delivery.
• Experience maintaining and enhancing existing applications while introducing new functionality without disrupting established
features.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements and aggressive delivery timelines.

Industry Knowledge
• Experience developing software for large, complex enterprise organizations.
• Familiarity with digital transformation programs, enterprise portfolio management, and organizational planning processes.
• Exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, quality management, or industrial operations is beneficial but not mandatory.
