TalentFish is casting a line for a Workday Finance Solutions Architect to join our premier global client. This is a full-time direct hire position. This role will serve as the primary leader and owner for Workday Finance.
- This is a Hands-On Technical Leadership Role.
- Candidates with Workday Certifications are Strongly Preferred.
Overview
The Workday Finance Solutions Architect will drive the design, configuration, and evolution of our client s Workday Financial Management platform as the business continues to scale.
You will be responsible for supporting and optimizing the Workday Financial Management platform across a global organization, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving efficiency in finance operations.
What You Bring to the Role (Ideal Experience)
- 5+ years building solutions for a global organization using Workday Financial Management.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Finance modules including Core Financials, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Adaptive Planning, Expenses, Projects, and Reporting.
- Familiarity with Workday integration solutions direct and via middleware.
- Extend and Accounting Center experience a plus.
- Strong knowledge of global Finance business processes and reporting needs; CPA or similar certification a strong plus.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into Workday configuration and technology solutions.
- Strong knowledge of key finance business processes, reporting requirements, and global finance challenges.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead technology teams and engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
What You'll Do (Skills Used in this Position)
- Lead hands-on configuration of Workday Finance modules and guide support team members in evaluating configuration options.
- Execute roadmap deliverables and in-flight initiative capabilities in alignment with Finance stakeholder goals.
- Partner with Finance leaders to understand business objectives and identify Workday optimization opportunities.
- Document business requirements and design appropriate Workday and related technology solutions.
- Provide guidance on building interfaces between Workday and other Finance and corporate systems.
- Collaborate with the Finance Project Lead and Program Management to plan and prioritize upcoming initiatives.
Compensation and Employment
This role requires authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship. The expected compensation range is $150,000 - $165,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This role qualifies for comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, vision Insurance and paid time off. TalentFish is committed to pay transparency and equal opportunity.
