Location: Valencia, CA (Onsite)


Pay Rate: $51.00/hour

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support product quality, failure analysis, and post-market investigations for complex electro-mechanical products. This role is ideal for an engineer with experience in quality engineering, root cause analysis, electronics troubleshooting, failure investigations, and quality systems. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities


  • Lead and review failure analysis investigations for returned and non-returned electro-mechanical products.

  • Develop, maintain, and release work instructions (WI) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Train, mentor, and support laboratory technicians performing product investigations and testing.

  • Analyze product performance data, identify trends, and investigate quality concerns.

  • Initiate and manage nonconformance investigations and corrective actions.

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, Design Assurance, and Post-Market teams to determine root causes and improve product performance.

  • Ensure investigations are completed accurately and in compliance with quality standards and procedures.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in quality engineering, failure analysis, test engineering, or electronics troubleshooting.

  • Experience analyzing electronic systems and components, including RF communication technologies.

  • Strong knowledge of root cause investigation methodologies and technical documentation.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.

  • Medical device industry experience preferred.
